Parents, sign your students up to build a prototype smart doorbell while learning about the layers of Internet-connected technology!
This three-day STEM camp will introduce students to the Internet of Things and build on that foundation to create their own smart doorbell prototype.
Topics will include an introduction to IoT architectures and devices (a camera, Raspberry Pi, breadboards, etc.), Inter-Integrated Circuits (I2C) device connections, simple logic processing (e.g. activating a camera using a motion detector), cloud connections, and other skills-building topics.
