SBIR to Develop Security Solutions for Internet of Things Technologies
Quanterion Solutions was recently awarded a U.S. Air Force Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II to continue its support of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Information Directorate’s research of “Secure Internet of Things (IoT) Operational Planning Environment (SIoTOPE).”
In Phase I of the SBIR, Quanterion’s Phase I approach focused on the design of a cloud-based IoT testing environment to align industry best practices with DoD cybersecurity standards.
After successfully demonstrating this IoT framework and test environment, Quanterion Solutions’ focus in Phase II revolves around use case analysis including automated tools and practices to streamline the process. Additionally, Quanterion Solutions is responsible for developing a lifecycle data management model for the operational data generated by the IoT technology for informed decision-making. Quanterion Solutions is also managing the risk assessments and improving mitigation efforts for disparate IoT designs and cyber-related events.
Quanterion Solutions subcontracted with Certus Innovations, INVIZA Health, Idaho National Laboratory, and Marengo Research for additional technical support.
